Oversee supplier identification, on-boarding, qualification, evaluation, classification. PPAP process governance for parts/components.
Develop and support supplier to achieve ongoing conformance with the requirements and continual improvement in quality.
Lead the supplier claim process and performance tracking.
Complete quality audits, surveillance, and the inspections at supplier manufacturing locations.
Lead the supplier performance improvement actions for the targeted suppliers.
Create, implement, and sustain quality standards, ensure compatibility of the product and processes with customer requirements, standards and other arrangements.
Analyze quality issues, initiate, and lead quality/L6S/cost out projects, define improvements and corrective actions.
Perform system, process, and products internal audits.
Your background:
Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline will be an asset.
At least 2-3 years of experience on Quality or Supplier Quality engineering role is required.
Expertise in quality management methods, quality tools and measurements systems.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methods and problem solving/root cause analysis.
Experience in ERP systems (SAP), Power BI will be an asset.
Good knowledge of English- communication in an international environment.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical drawings or specifications in English.
Detail oriented, analytical skills.
Well organized/good organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team.
