Production Team Leader

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Team Lead to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Production Team Lead, you will be responsible for production process set up and optimization to insure required performance of the facility. It includes but not limited to overseeing the production operations, building and leading a team of production workers, introducing and implementing production processes automation and best practices in organization of modern and efficient manufacturing processes. Your primary goal will be to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring a safe working environment. 

Key functions 

• Analyze production process, develop and implement process optimization plan to improve production performance.
• Introduce and implement best production organization practices in building modern and flexible production facility able to achieve required volume targets.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production workers to ensure effective and efficient production operations
• Set production goals and monitor the teams performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded
• Plan and organize production schedules and resources to optimize productivity and minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to enhance workplace safety
• Train new team members on production processes and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for existing team members
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to resolve production issues and improve processes
• Monitor and analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance logs
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement 

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Russian
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree in a related field is a plus
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment with production process organization and/or improvement
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
• Excellent knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and safety protocols. Ability to foresee and resolve bottle necks and achieve performance improvement.
• Proficiency in using production management software and other relevant tools
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
