WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

Leading the production department and being responsible for the employees, which includes also to make sure that all production related processes are running according to the defined framework & KPIs
In close cooperation with quality, maintenance and all other departments you are working on permanent improvement of processes, quality and operational excellence
Ensuring adequate efficiency and effectiveness of production lines and the quality of manufactured products
Taking care that documentation and reporting in our systems is done correctly as well as overlooking the budget for the production area
Responsible for sustainable training programs linked to qualification and development of employees to guarantee the appropriate level of knowledge and skills
Responsible to act according to legal requirements, ensure a Health and safety work environment as well as implement all requests from external audits and certifications

WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

Experience as a production manager in a manufacturing plant in similar or comparable industry (>4 years of experience)
Knowledge of methods of managing production processes (Lean Manufacturing, 5s)
Ability to make decisions, also under time pressure and within complex tasks
Strong interpersonal skills and leadership competence;
Hands-on mentality is a must as well as problem solving skills and high grade of flexibility and stress resistance
A very good command of English as a necessary condition
