As a Packaging Food Safety Compliance Coordinator, you become a part of our Packaging Master Data team under the Packaging Optimizations Team in Procurement. Where you will support our business and our dedicated Packaging Managers, that are located all over Europa.
You will be located in our office in Gdansk, where Packaging Master Data Team have 8 out of 400 dedicate colleagues that daily support all of Arla with IT, HR, Procurement, financial operations, and packaging data.

Packaging Food Safety Compliance Coordinator

As Packaging Food Safety Compliance Coordinator you will be responsible for updating the Document of Compliance for food contact material according to legal requirements. Further you will be responsible for handling Arla Foods Packaging Compliance Document communicating directly with Arla Foods dairies and packaging suppliers.
You will be one point of contact in all internal and external question regarding packaging and food safety compliance, and are expected to contribute and support in continuous improvement on packaging food safety for Arla Food – all in close corporation with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate compliance of EU Regulation for packaging and food safety.
- Coordinate and handling Arla Foods Packaging Compliance Document and Document of Compliance (DoC) to ensure compliance to EU Regulation on food contact material packaging.
- Coordinate/Support in approving statements to support sustainability and legally purpose.
- Reply on customer questionnaires on packaging.
- Create performance report and make risk assessment.
You know how to combine operational work with data and systems along with wide support to business, stakeholders and your colleagues. Being open towards process improvements along with rational approach and proper fact analysis is an attitude we would value.
- Relevant education in Food Technology, Technology of Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology and Kemi or similar,
- 3-4 years of working experience from FMCG industry or similar,
- Experience EU regulations on food packaging.
- Experience with BRC, GMP standards and HACCP will be a plus.
- As we work in an international setup – English fluency is a must.
